Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on designated routes adhering to strict safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness
- Supervise student conduct and enforce safety policies
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Report maintenance issues and complete accurate logs
- Adapt routes for field trips and extracurricular activities
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean record
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and ability to manage student behavior
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexible availability (early mornings, midday, afternoons)
- No CDL required – training provided
