Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently for local deliveries
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and time-sensitive routes
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Ensure proper loading/unloading of cargo with precision
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Comply with all federal/state transportation regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to pass mandatory drug screening and background check
- Knowledge of LA metropolitan area and surrounding regions
- Physical ability to handle heavy lifting up to 50 lbs
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
- Strong time management and organizational skills
