Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) and transport cargo to designated destinations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring cargo security during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required paperwork.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex routes.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts and long hours as needed.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor truck maintenance.
