Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on regional routes with 95%+ on-time delivery rate
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and securement protocols
- Adapt to dynamic delivery schedules using real-time GPS tracking systems
- Comply with FMCSA regulations, Hours of Service, and company safety policies
- Communicate with dispatch team and customers regarding delivery status
- Complete electronic logging and documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and securement procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong navigation skills with familiarity with Southeastern US
- Exceptional time management and customer service abilities
- No preventable accidents in past 3 years
