Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional and local routes within North Carolina
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance at all times
- Manage accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery status and route changes
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all safety protocols
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Basic knowledge of North Carolina roadways and traffic patterns
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
