Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (53' dry van reefers) for regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and conduct pre/post-trip inspections
- Manage accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging
- Maintain communication with dispatch for route optimization
- Ensure cargo security and temperature compliance for refrigerated freight
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb trailer decks
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of North Carolina/Florida geography
- Experience with refrigerated freight preferred
- Team player with strong time-management skills
