Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional routes
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage delivery schedules to meet time-sensitive commitments
- Report any maintenance issues or road hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable truck driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Phoenix metro area and Southwest routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic smartphone proficiency for ELD systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Flexibility to adjust schedule during peak seasons
