Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers safely and efficiently across designated Los Angeles routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to DOT regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for optimal route planning and communication
- Maintain clean driving record and uphold company safety standards
- Assist with loading/unloading when required to maintain schedule integrity
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Knowledge of Los Angeles metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong time-management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for early morning/evening shifts and occasional weekends
- Basic familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
