Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles over 26,000 lbs GVWR
- Transport freight to/from distribution centers and client sites
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Plan efficient routes using GPS navigation systems
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delivery status
- Load/unload shipments with proper equipment handling
- Respond professionally to customer inquiries and issues
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Colorado roadways and mountain driving
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong time management and communication abilities
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips
