Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD)
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Manage delivery timelines while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Document all transportation activities and submit required paperwork
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations
- Flexibility for overnight regional travel (3-4 days/week)
