Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and delivery vans safely and efficiently across the Austin metropolitan area and regional routes.
- Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and vehicle readiness.
- Securely load and unload cargo, ensuring all packages are handled with care and delivered on time.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and documentation in strict adherence to federal regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch teams and clients regarding route changes and delivery updates.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Certificate (DOT Physical) and valid DOT card.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Strong ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and electronic logging devices.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
