Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle and cargo safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients and delivery sites.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or emergencies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial truck.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and cargo handling procedures.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
