Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26 ft) for local/regional deliveries within 200-mile radius
- Manage end-to-end logistics including loading/unloading, route optimization, and timely deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery records, mileage logs, and vehicle maintenance documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve issues proactively
- Adhere to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company operational standards
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time schedule adjustments and priority shipments
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and ensure vehicle cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of box truck or straight truck experience
- Reliable 24-26 ft box truck with current registration and insurance
- Strong knowledge of Nashville metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Smartphone with reliable data for dispatch communications and GPS
- Professional communication skills and punctuality-focused mindset
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for on-road maintenance
