Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on dedicated regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery documentation and electronic logging systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup operations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and timely deliveries
- Represent Premier Logistics Solutions with professionalism in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Familiarity with San Jose Bay Area geography and major highways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Flexibility for early morning start times and occasional weekend deliveries
