Responsibilities
- Operate commercial tractor-trailer trucks to transport freight across the United States.
- Inspect vehicle for mechanical issues and safety compliance before and after each trip.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and comply with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and issues.
- Ensure the safety of all passengers and cargo during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT physical on file.
- Clean driving record with no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws and safety protocols.
