Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport at construction sites and quarries
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle documentation
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations during all operations
- Coordinate with dispatchers to optimize delivery schedules and routes
- Load/unload materials using proper techniques to prevent damage
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years' experience operating dump trucks or heavy equipment
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and construction zones
- Physical ability to handle outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
