Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry vans, reefers) across Georgia and Southeastern US routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Manage accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging (ELD)
- Maintain compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety policies
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse staff
- Adapt to variable schedules and overnight routes as needed
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B CDL permit (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 21 years old with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Willingness to complete paid CDL training program
- Basic math skills for weight calculations and paperwork
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
