Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles in a safe, efficient, and legal manner in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and cargo.
- Load and unload freight safely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and necessary documentation.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and route changes.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or mechanical defects immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and highway safety regulations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
