Responsibilities
- Analyze and synthesize global megatrends across technology, sociology, and economics to forecast 2026+ market disruptions
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for clients in AI ethics, biotech convergence, and climate adaptation
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineers, designers, and policy experts
- Author forward-looking white papers and strategic roadmaps for C-level stakeholders
- Curate and host high-impact foresight symposia with industry thought leaders
- Mentor junior futurists and establish new methodologies for trend analysis
- Drive patent development for emerging human-machine interface solutions
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Expertise in quantitative trend modeling (e.g., Delphi methods, horizon scanning)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures narratives
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed futures journals
- Experience advising C-suite on 5+ year strategic pivots
