- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for emerging societal challenges (e.g., climate adaptation, neurodiversity tech)
- Author quarterly foresight briefs for C-suite executives and board members
- Establish global networks with futurist councils, academic institutions, and venture capital firms
- Champion ethical innovation frameworks for responsible technology deployment
- Measure and report on innovation KPIs tied to long-term competitive advantage
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership with demonstrable impact on future-shaping initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., synthetic biology, quantum machine learning)
- Proven ability to synthesize complex data into actionable narratives for diverse stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
