Responsibilities
- Operate Class B dump trucks safely on construction sites and public roads
- Transport construction materials (gravel, asphalt, debris) to/from job sites
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch and site supervisors for timely deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 3 years commercial driving experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Chula Vista/San Diego County routes
- Physical ability to climb equipment and handle heavy materials
