Responsibilities
- Operate Class 8 dump trucks for material transport in urban and construction zones
- Maintain strict compliance with DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Coordinate with site supervisors for efficient load/unload operations
- Document transportation logs and maintain accurate delivery records
- Adapt to changing schedules and project demands in fast-paced environments
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial dump truck driving experience
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- HAZMAT certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area traffic patterns and construction zones
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Experience with GPS navigation and digital dispatch systems
