Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers in a safe, professional, and efficient manner.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and secure cargo properly, ensuring weight distribution and safety standards are met.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all traffic laws.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A) in good standing.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) available for inspection.
- Minimum of 12 months of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and background check.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and route planning.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
