Responsibilities
- Safe & Efficient Delivery: Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages to residential and commercial locations in a timely manner.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers, handle package handling with care, and maintain a positive attitude.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Route Management: Plan delivery routes efficiently to ensure all stops are made within the allotted time window.
- Documentation: Accurately complete delivery logs, invoices, and other required paperwork.
- Load & Unload: Safely load and unload cargo using hand trucks or pallet jacks, ensuring items are not damaged.
Qualifications
- Driver's License: Valid Class C Driver's License (or equivalent) required.
- Driving Record: Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, carry, and push packages weighing up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to read maps and GPS navigation systems.
- Background Check: Willingness to pass a background check and drug screening.
