Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in adherence to all FMCSA and company safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Fulfill delivery schedules while providing exceptional customer service at pickup and delivery points.
- Uphold a professional image and follow all company policies and procedures.
- Report mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly to fleet management.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Must possess a current Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service rules.
- Valid DOT medical card (if not included in CDL).
- Basic mechanical aptitude to perform minor vehicle checks.
