Responsibilities
- Design and implement rigorous safety protocols for Large Language Models and Autonomous Agents.
- Conduct comprehensive bias assessments and fairness audits on proprietary AI models.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate ethical guardrails into the software development lifecycle.
- Produce white papers and technical guidelines for government regulators and industry stakeholders.
- Monitor emerging global AI regulations and adapt internal compliance strategies accordingly.
- Lead research initiatives into the long-term impacts of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI).
- Advocate for responsible AI practices within the organization and the broader tech community.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Computer Science, Philosophy, Ethics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, or Cognitive Science.
- Deep understanding of AI safety concepts, including corrigibility, interpretability, and value alignment.
- Proven track record of publishing research in top-tier academic journals or conferences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Experience with Python, PyTorch, or TensorFlow is a strong plus.
