Responsibilities
- Safely transport students on daily routes and field trips
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintain logs
- Enforce student safety protocols during boarding/drop-off
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
- Adhere to traffic laws and district safety standards
- Manage student behavior with positive reinforcement
- Report maintenance issues and complete paperwork
Qualifications
- Valid Alaska Driver's License (Class D minimum)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb bus steps
