Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school and school activities.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus environment for all passengers.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, school district policies, and safety regulations.
- Manage student behavior and ensure a secure environment during transit.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and school personnel regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
- Proof of a clean driving record (MVR) with no serious violations.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
- Physical ability to lift luggage, assist passengers, and stand for extended periods.
- Strong customer service skills and patience when interacting with students and parents.
