Responsibilities
- Safely transport students on designated routes following strict safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate attendance records and student manifests
- Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and dispatchers
- Manage student behavior and ensure a positive, respectful environment
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic regulations
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to obtain Oregon Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with school bus endorsement
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist students with mobility needs
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
