Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks on dedicated routes across North Carolina and surrounding states
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery records in compliance with DOT regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all safety protocols and HOS regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL (we'll help obtain if needed)
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for ELD systems
- Willingness to work variable schedules including overnight trips
- Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
- No prior experience required - training provided!
