Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial box trucks and delivery vans to transport freight to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and lifting equipment, ensuring weight distribution is balanced.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues.
- Update delivery logs and maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
- Provide excellent customer service by handling freight with care and communicating professionally with clients.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (Class B or equivalent) required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic math skills for making change and handling cash payments.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse location.
