Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain student discipline and ensure safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adhere to strict traffic laws and school district policies
- Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
Qualifications
- Valid Oklahoma Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with School Bus endorsement
- Pass background check and drug screening
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist students with mobility
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Punctuality and reliability
