Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and field trips
- Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain strict adherence to traffic laws and school policies
- Supervise student conduct during transit
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
- Complete accurate daily route logs and incident reports
- Assist students with boarding/exiting mobility needs
Qualifications
- Valid Indiana Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger endorsement
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Minimum 3 years driving experience
- Clear criminal background check
- Child CPR certification (provided if needed)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist mobility-impaired students
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Flexible availability for early morning/afternoon shifts
