Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and field trips
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain student discipline and safety protocols
- Adhere to strict traffic laws and district routes
- Communicate professionally with parents/staff
- Document incidents and maintain accurate logs
- Participate in quarterly safety drills
- Operate wheelchair lifts as needed
Qualifications
- Valid CA Class B CDL with Passenger/School Bus endorsements
- Minimum 3 years driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- TB clearance and fingerprint clearance
- Child First Aid/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and bend/kneel
- Fluent English/Spanish bilingual preferred
- Clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
