Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain clean buses
- Follow strict safety protocols and manage student behavior
- Adapt routes for weather, traffic, and special needs
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
- Complete accurate daily attendance and incident reports
Qualifications
- Valid Kansas Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with School Bus endorsement
- Minimum 1 year driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and background check
- First Aid/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist students with mobility
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
- Patience and dedication to child safety
