Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from school and extracurricular activities
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain strict adherence to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Monitor student behavior and ensure a positive bus environment
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Complete accurate daily trip logs and incident reports
- Participate in ongoing safety training and professional development
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to obtain Class B CDL with Passenger endorsement (training provided)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage student behavior calmly and professionally
- Physical ability to assist students with mobility needs
- Flexibility to work early mornings and afternoons
