Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on dedicated OTR routes throughout California
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Manage delivery documentation and communicate shipment status to dispatch
- Maintain accurate logs and records in compliance with federal requirements
- Collaborate with logistics team to optimize route efficiency and on-time delivery
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with clients at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable OTR driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and FMCSA compliance
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and transportation software
- Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with dispatch
- Pass background check and drug screening (company-sponsored)
