Responsibilities
- Safely operate box truck for local/regional freight deliveries
- Maintain clean DOT-compliant vehicle and complete pre/post-trip inspections
- Adhere to delivery schedules and provide real-time tracking updates
- Manage paperwork including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
- Communicate professionally with clients and dispatch team
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year box truck experience
- Reliable box truck (2008+ model, 24-26ft preferred)
- Smartphone with GPS and data capabilities
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Strong time management and customer service skills
