Responsibilities
- Safely operate school bus on designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Manage student behavior and ensure safety protocols
- Maintain accurate transportation records and logs
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff
- Respond to emergencies following established procedures
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to obtain CDL Class B with passenger endorsement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and ability to work with children
- Basic mechanical knowledge preferred
