Responsibilities
- Transport students to and from school and school activities safely and in a timely manner.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain order and discipline on the bus while enforcing safety rules and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with parents, school administration, and dispatch regarding routes and delays.
- Assist students with boarding and exiting the vehicle in a safe and courteous manner.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license (Class B with passenger endorsement is a plus, but we offer training).
- Clean driving record with no major violations or DUIs in the past 7 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
