Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks and heavy equipment on various construction sites and roadways.
- Load and unload materials (gravel, dirt, asphalt, sand) efficiently using hand signals and forklifts.
- Perform thorough daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery paperwork in strict compliance with DOT regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company driving policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site supervisors regarding load status and route changes.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required (or eligibility for our training program).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform basic truck maintenance checks.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and challenging terrain.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
