Responsibilities
- Safely transporting students to and from school and school-related activities.
- Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe bus environment for all passengers.
- Monitoring student behavior and ensuring the safety of children while boarding and exiting.
- Communicating effectively with parents, dispatch, and school personnel regarding schedules and incidents.
- Adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B with Passenger endorsement, OR eligibility to obtain one.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no serious traffic violations.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Reliable transportation to and from the bus depot.
