Responsibilities
- Transport students safely to and from school and school-related activities.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is in safe operating condition.
- Monitor student behavior on the bus and enforce safety rules to maintain a secure environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and school staff regarding schedules and delays.
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle, including those with special needs.
- Keep the bus clean and presentable at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.
- Minimum of one year of verifiable driving experience.
- Pass a comprehensive background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record review.
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to remain calm in emergencies.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
