Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to and from school routes and extracurricular activities
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance reports
- Enforce school bus safety protocols and student conduct policies
- Maintain precise schedules and communication with dispatch and parents
- Adhere to all federal/state traffic regulations and school district policies
- Provide first aid assistance during emergencies
Qualifications
- Valid Missouri driver's license (CDL training provided)
- Minimum 21 years of age with clean driving record
- Pass background check and DOT physical examination
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate vehicle controls
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience and dedication to student safety
- High school diploma or equivalent
