Responsibilities
- Safely transport students to/from schools and extracurricular events
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain orderly conduct on the bus per district policies
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff
- Complete daily trip logs and incident reports
- Participate in ongoing safety training sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum age 21 with valid US driver's license
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to obtain CDL with passenger endorsement (training provided)
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Patience and compassion for student safety
