Responsibilities
- Transport students safely to and from school and school-related activities.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the bus is roadworthy.
- Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus, ensuring they are seated securely.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean bus environment at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, school bus safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, parents, and school personnel regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
- A clean driving record with no major traffic violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical examination.
- Excellent customer service skills and a patient demeanor when working with children.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work early morning and/or afternoon shifts.
