Responsibilities
- Safely operate school buses on designated routes following strict safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Manage student behavior with patience and professionalism
- Maintain accurate attendance and route documentation
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Adapt to schedule changes and emergency route adjustments
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness and maintenance compliance
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to obtain Minnesota Class B CDL with passenger endorsement (training provided)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle minor student conflicts calmly
- Physical ability to assist students with mobility needs
- Reliability and punctuality for scheduled shifts
- High school diploma or equivalent required
