Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van/refrigerated) on long-haul routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging systems
- Coordinate with dispatchers for efficient route optimization
- Handle secure cargo and ensure timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations and HOS compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Proficiency in GPS navigation and electronic logging
- Flexibility for overnight trips and variable schedules
