Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL required) for nighttime deliveries and pick-ups
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo efficiently using proper equipment and safety procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and delivery documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes, delays, or issues
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure seamless loading/unloading operations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Proven ability to operate in nighttime conditions and adverse weather
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Physical capability to handle cargo up to 70 lbs and climb into/onto trailers
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends/holidays
