Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) across Pacific Northwest routes
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining strict compliance with DOT regulations
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery scheduling
- Handle specialized cargo including temperature-controlled and hazardous materials (with endorsements)
- Implement defensive driving techniques to maximize safety and fuel efficiency
- Document delivery confirmations and resolve any shipment discrepancies
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic navigation systems
- Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred but not required (training provided)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
